, from North Bend, WA Summary: King County is looking to site a Secure Community Transition Facility (SCTF) for violent sex offenders not far from this trail. It would really help if you guys send an e-mail to sctfcomments@dshs.wa.gov to oppose the siting of the SCTF near the Fire Training Center. In order to site the SCTF, they would have to clear-cut about 50 to 100 acres of land in the area. Do we really want this?? Recommended Route: Love the trail. Would hate to see it go.

, from sleattle Summary: guess what boys, thanks to your very well described location on this trail, our favorite friend, the Forest Service, (whom might I remind you allows roads to be cut into the forest, but not trail) is about one lube job on there chainsaw from cutting this trail down. While I hope they decide to leave it alone, and several groups are lobbing to prevent the closure, it looks like this trail is going to get cut. I guess the best way to keep trails out of the hands of the service, and other Trail Nazi's, is to Not post them when you find them, and keep it word of mouth. Just two weeks ago, Our group had several weeks of work ruined by someone, which has made us consider alternative construction * any one know how to mix cement with rebar? ok that may be getting caried away, but I believe the best way to keep trails like we like them, is to always rebuild, to where it becomes the norm, as you can see at greenlake with the dirt jumps there, and southwoods (whom may suffer the same fate as this trail in a couple of years due to a watertower) Cheers- keep on building. And keep it quiet! Allied Trail Builder
