Ridden Trail: Once a week

Cross Country Rider Summary: So it looks like one of the best riding spots around is going away... or is it??? Perhaps it's finally time to get some sort of organization together to do something about this. Now, the west side of the road (same side as the tree farm) is a lost cause. We will never ride there again. But the other side of the road still has great trails... and many miles of it.
This property is, as I understand it, under different ownership... I believe a local school district owns it. But they are looking to sell. There may be a way to convince them to keep at least 10-20 miles of trail open. Our options have a wide range: anything from getting a group together to buy some of it to paying a small fee for usage.
There are many possibilities, but none of which are possible if we don't have some type of organization! We all come from very diverse backgrounds with many talents between us. I'm sure we have the tools to make a difference.
If you're interested, email me at VictorfallsMBA and I will start an email listing so we can brainstorm the topic to come up with some solutions.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Trails are closed, please check with local shop before heading out. Don't know if maybe there is a corner that they will still let us ride, but no longer park at the tree farm. Recommended Route: Trails are closed and development has commenced. Other recommended trails in the same area: none

Weekend Warrior Summary: What a shame that Cascadia development has begun. Every year more and more of the trails out here have been lost but what is going on now marks the beginning of the end. If you want to ride Victor, do it now because in a few years time it could all be gone. Even though the Furthur map is very good, many of the trails are already gone!

Weekend Warrior Summary: Jim, I've been riding at Victor for 2 years, without a map. I picked a map (older version) up 4 weeks ago, and it's made a tremendous difference! I'm no longer bumbling along trying to remember what goes where and whos on first. Excellent job and the comments on the trail were very helpful.
The bike shop in Puyallup had one of your? new maps on the wall, but didn't have any in stock to purchase, I'll pick one up when they do. Recommended Route: Too many to list, but on the dry side start with Elavator (take first left after gate, keep going), down route 66, cut across to the bridges, then down to Deer Run, Up Cut your bars. That's about a 5.5 mile loop and will put you near the clear cut. Other recommended trails in the same area: Skookum, Stella (longview)
