The trail is very fun. It is fast, technical in some spots and almost all downhill. Small drops on the swichbacks, loose rocks etc...

Summary:
If DH is your bag, then there are a few trails down. If your a Cross Country rider, forget it. Vail has coverd up most all cross country single track. If your looking to ride sweet single track don't wast your time or money in Vail!

Recommended Route:
Take your DH bike and use the lift up. Cross country trails. The over used service road, up and back down.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Any other place than Vail. You can find the best Cross Country riding right in the Great little town of Winter Park. Their you will find some sweet single track. Winter Park, Fraser Valley has over 600 miles of sweet trails. Winter Park also runs the best Mountain Bike Race Series around. So if it's Cross Country your looking for, Look no farther than Winter Park.

Summary:
The first portion of this trail includes some fun double and singletrack through stands of aspen. As you begin to crest the ridge and descend the southern face, the trail becomes a steep eroded series of switchbacks. Your seat should be somewhere up around your chin for this stretch. This is a highly technical section. I am not a huge fan of the trail overall, but it's worth checking out if you're bored with some of Vail's better singletrack offerings.

Recommended Route:
See above.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Son of Middle Creek, Lineshack, Two Elk, Lost Lake, Whiskey Creek.
