Downhiller Summary: With the new work done to creekside it is awesome, sweet berms, some small jumps smoother trail over all Recommended Route: Ride Gondola to top Bomb down Zig Zag to Creek Side. Who needs to ride up when there is a gondy to get you there. Steamboat as a whole is not the best downhill around but it does have its moments of fun.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Trail is mostly lame. Terribly dusty and rutted out. Def not worth the climb. Look elsewhere.

, from Fort Collins, CO Summary: Tight, Fast, with lots of really fun transitions. Mostly all middle ring work with very little climbing. This would be my favorite trail if you didn't have to go on payment in order to get back to the base of Mt. Warner. Probably best fit for an experienced rider, or someone who likes to be challenged technically. Recommended Route: This is a one way trail. You must start from the top (by elevation) and follow the creek down. Start from Zig Zag Approx 2.2 miles up Mt. Warner Other recommended trails in the same area: Zig Zag. Pete's Wicked Trail. Summit Challenge.

, from Vail, CO Summary: The climb up Zig Zag is well worth the trip back down Creekside. Nice wide bike path with only a few spots of really bearing down. Once at Creekside, the fun begins! Right off the start there is a small creek crossing via a man-made bridge. The single track follows the creek (hence the name) at a perfect slope. Rocks and stumps scatter the trail and add to the techincal aspect of the ride...not just a smooth sailing, just enough to make it incredibly fun. 3 more creek crossings along the way. Runoffs were still high when I rode the trail, but all creek crossings were easily makeable. Definite confidence builders as you forge 10' wide by 8" deep water. The round trip took me 45min-1hour to complete and left me smiling. Enjoy!
Recommended Route: Easy to find...starting at the base of Steamboat, head up the mountain to your left on Zig Zag. This is a moderate climb on a wide path meant just for us bikers. Scenic climb through forest. Keep on trail until you come to signage for Creekside Trail.

, from Boulder, CO Summary: Fun! Up and down, back and forth, fast. Not technical, though the rutted area and creek crossings can be dangerous. Very scenic, though who has time to look at surroundings? 4 stars because it's so short. Recommended Route: Well, we hit it taking the gondola up and then coming down Zigzag. Other recommended trails in the same area: Scotts Run (#1177) off Seedhouse Road was one of the best rides I've ever been on. Valley View on the resort was great too.
