Cross Country Rider Summary: Good trail. Some intense climbing to get to the lake and then a blast coming down. Forested most of the way and some good curves. Good warmup ride or quick ride if you don't have much time. Recommended Route: Start from the Nordic center on the south part of town. Other recommended trails in the same area: In Crested Butte??? All of them!

Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail is awesome. 4.5 mile climb out of town (start @ nordic center) w/ 1800 foot elevation gain. Climb/push a long ways until you finally hit Green Lake. Must dip foot into lake for this one to count. Turn around, drop seat, open up your shocks, and let 'er rip. Recommended Route: Only one way to go, from nordic center

Ridden Trail: Once a year

, from bandera, tx,us Summary: This trail is awsome. It's by far my favorite trail. Hope you like to climb!! loooong tight uphill through the trees, lots of switchbacks and roots. when you get to the top, you turn around and go back down. It's the most fun you can possibly have. there is one section of fire road that is about half a mile long. it's at about a 35 degree angle the hole way. you can get up to around 50!! you fly down the entire trail. it would be worth climbing mt. everest just for this 7.5 mile down-hill! Recommended Route: read above Other recommended trails in the same area: upper loop, snodgrass
