Weekend Warrior Summary: Rode this trail for the first time today. As described the technical difficulty is low, but I found it quite fun. The terrain is very smooth, which allows you to keeps the pedals turning and really rip through the forest. The trail markers are not up to date. There is a recently developed orange blaze trail that dumps you off in the middle of nowhere making for an interesting trek back to the main trail.
In all a lot of fun and well worth it if you are looking for a workout and a reminder of how fun a smooth ribbon of wooded trail can be. Recommended Route: Marked Trail

Weekend Warrior Summary: Cedarville is my home trail. I live about 4 miles away. I can bike in, do an 11 mile loop then bike back home and get almost 20 miles of riding all in less then 2 hours. Cedarville is a good trail, but I would not make a trip specifically to ride Cedarvile, but if your in the area you should give it a try. It is a nice place to go fast and get a good workout. Recommended Route: Park at the ranger station. Start the Orange trail in the back of the parking lot. At the T intersection about a 1/4 of a mile in, go left. Continue on the Orange trail, to where the Blue train connects to it. You will be on the blue and Orange trail now. Cross over a paved road still on the Orange and Blue trail. You will get to a dirt road, continue right on the blue trail (the Orange trail goes to the left). Follow the blue trail until you get the main dirt road and take a right down the dirt road toward the pond. Do the Green loop and come back and continue on the other half of the Blue trail. Follow the Blue trail until you come back to the Orange trail. Take the Orange trail to the right and follow the Orange trail back to the ranger station.
This is about an 11 mile loop that only retraces about 30 yards of trails. This loop covers all the good aspects of Cedarville.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Good trails for physical training depending on how hard you push. Lived in this area for 23 years, can't remember the last time I saw the orange trail dry.
Lot of exposed roots and a few decent climbs and decents. Recommended Route: Get the trail guide, experiment. Most of these trails can be combined. Other recommended trails in the same area: Cedarville, Potapsco, Susquehanna.

Cross Country Rider Summary: About a 15 mile loop if you hit all the Blue, White, Orange, Green. Mostly flat with a good mix of twisty singletrack and fireroad. If you crank up the speed, this place is a rush! And it's not hard to let it rip with the excellent trail condition and lay-out. I've been riding here for 14 years and still enjoy it. M.O.R.E. (more-mtb.com) continues to add/improve trails. Southern MD gem. Recommended Route: Get a map at the office or, Other recommended trails in the same area: Rosaryville State Park
