, from Wheaton Summary: Not technical. Flat and wide like they said. Pretty tho, and good when all the singletrack is too wet. You can connect to Cabin John near lock 7 for some real trails. Recommended Route: Follow the wide flat thing. Other recommended trails in the same area: Depends on where you live. Cabin John is fun and connects to the towpath close to DC.

, from Arlington, VA Summary: The towpath is a FLAT WIDE PATH. don't expect a lot if you don't ride out from the city and LOOK for the technicals. I found some great trails with jumps and fallen trees. Recommended Route: Check the side trails off the towpath after it rains for some serious bogging. Other recommended trails in the same area: Potomac Heratige trail (Chain bridge to Key bridge on VA side of river) if you think you can do it!!

, from baltimore Summary: This is about as boring as they get. Not only is the ride extremely flat but the path is terribly crowded. I would rather ride on any road. Skip this for sure.

, from Bowie, MD Summary: Nice trail to bike/camp. Campsite every 5 miles. Bring water filter, water from well pumps taste like crap! Easy riding even with fifty pounds of gear strapped to the bike. Recommended Route: Cumberland to Point of Rocks
