Weekend Warrior Summary: I'm a begginer rider and Hashawa was the first trail I went on with my new Surly single speed :) It was a fun ride, with lots of hills, both moderate climbs and some steep shorties. There are trails with stream crossings and somewhat technical stuff, but also easier paths with less bumps in the road. The parts I rode were mostly single track, and the routes are used by equestrians so watch out for poo! Nice lake nearby, also some large hills in the area with great vistas of the surrounding country. There is a small bird sanctuary on one of the trails with beautifull caged creatures including a Bald Eagle and several varieties of Owls. It's probably a good place for people with moderate experiece or serious begginers like me who want to improve their skills. Plenty of parking nearby, and very close to Westminster. Good place to spend half a day.
