Handlebar Trail

Nice local ride. Mostly wooded singletrack with a little bit of old railroad right of way. Part of the trail parallels the Blanchard River. Few short steep hills. Nice rolly polly ride in places, but most of it is flat (as is most of Findlay).

Ridden Trail:
Once a week

Summary:
Down by the river in Findlay, off of Broad Ave. This short 1.7mi loop is better than nothing. No challenging hills, but some of the turns wind through some tight trees. Riding it backwards (from marked path) creates some SHORT steep climbs and makes it into an instant 3.4mi loop.

Recommended Route:
Backwards

Ridden Once

Summary:
Ummmm..... okay... what to say. Well, if you're in the area try this trail. It's pretty wimpy, but if you're looking for some exercise try going around it 4 or 5 times. The trail is marked as being alomost three miles, but seems to be more like two and a half, as it only takes about 7 min. to get around. It is definately not technical, but does have some pretty good runs in it were you can hit about 25 or 30 mph; it doesn't have any "real" hills.

Recommended Route:
Look up the "Spoke Junkies" and they have a pretty good description on how to get there; I'll just get you lost!
