Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is a quiet trail that is not real exciting, but good for beginners. It is nearly all double-track dirt road. Only the end turns into single track, about the last mile, which I enjoyed the most. The cattle guards are entertaining to ride over - you'll see what I mean when you go. Take some kids with you and take your time riding, and you'll have a good experience. Returning or riding all the way back to the car is pretty fun too, since it is all downhill. Going up is very gradual and not too hard, except for overweight and out of shape beginners.

Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is the kind of trail every cyclist should know about to take beginning cyclists out on. It is not strenuous at all, has a few really small climbs, and is decently scenic the whole way. The length offers newbies a sense of accomplishment. Beware of ATV's on the weekends and holidays, though. Other recommended trails in the same area: Soapstone Basin. A fast rolling scenic ride through alpine pastures that screams single speed country!
