, from Orem, Utah Summary: Me and a friend headed along the shoreline trail. We found a fire road to drop down into the area described but it was torn up by construction. I ended up having my pedal fall off my bike, wiping out, and had to go to the emergency room. My bike is still up there. It was a fun ride though. Other than the crash Recommended Route: I took the route from above the cemetery. The Bonneville shorline trail Other recommended trails in the same area: south fork

Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Springville, Utah Summary: The powers that be have closed access to this ride to put in a new buried water pipe. A month ago you could plead ignorance of any construction signs because of bad placement by the crews, however, as of 5-6-2002, there are no biking, no hiking, and no jogging signs everywhere and at nearly every entrance to the track on the Provo Canyon side. So, take the climb to the Shoreline trail behind Cascade Springs golf course and you'll get there. Once on the track ride till your hearts content and head on back up to the Shorline trail and out. These two climbs can be a lung busting workout, but if you want to play, you have to pay. Recommended Route: Park near/behind Cascade Springs golf course and ride up the back side of the mountain until you're on the Bonneville Shoreline trail. Then ride north and look down for a route to drop down into the race track.

, from Provo, UT Summary: I went to ride this trail about a month ago, and to my suprise it is no longer there. There is a big green pipe that runs all throught the top of the canyon, and they started to burry it, so the trail has been destroyed. There are remains of it, but for the most part all of their bulldozers and tractors tore it up. I rode a round for aobut two hours and found little ridable tracks. I just thought I should let the people know aobut this. Hopefully by this summerthey will fix the trail back, we can only hope, I had heard it was a pretty sweet place to ride.

, from PROVO Summary: I like this trail for allot of different reasons. I don't participate in the races but I do enjoy the course and try to ride as often as I can. This trail has a great mix of ups and downs. The trail always seems to be in great condition and most importantly it's a very fast course. If time permits I ride the loop 5-7 times, I ride the course quite often and I never seem to get tired or burnt out on it. I encourage all mountain bikers in the Utah valley area to give it a shot. It's not very technical, so it can be ridden by all levels of riders. Everyone that I know who has ridden this trail has nothing but good things to say. Other recommended trails in the same area: Southfork Canyon
